Broken Zipper
The zipper on my winter jacket is broken... anyone know where I could get it fixed quickly on HK island?

Sham Shui Po has many shops selling different type of zipper. You can try to buy there and take it to one of those small stalls doing alteration for clothes. Some laundry have such service too. I know there are a few places like this in Kennedy Town.

Many alterations/fixing shops in World Wide Centre in Central + Happy Valley - just walk around your area and you will find someone.

Hey Sazzy - re your comment - are you talking about those people with just a table + chair on the side street with a pile of clothes on it? I see them in Happy Valley, sometimes they are just sitting there or mending a piece of clothing, but I was never sure if I could approach them to ask about fixing stuff. Pls put me right, as I too have a broken zipper problem.
