Hollywood Road is a really good place to live. Very close to Central, you have the escalator, restaurants, bars, trees and maybe even harbour views. As for getting to Hung Hom, it would take about ten minutes to walk to Central Station plus however long it takes on the MTR from there...

i don't think you can beat Hollywood Road or the streets close by. You have all the markets in Peel and Graham Streets, the bars and restaurants of Soho, a few minutes walk to LKF or Sheung Wan for all things practical. Pure or Fitness First Close by and the escalator of course. There is a Welcome down on Queens Rd and a better one up on Caine and a PnS on Wellington St. The only thing is that it is one way so you have to go a bit of a round about way in a taxi to get home. The construction at Centrestage could also get a bit annoying but construction noise and dust are everywhere.

I agree... the perfect location

The key is to be close to the escalator but on on it, as it can be noisy on the weekends.

cerberus is an unknown quantity at this point.
there's no MTR to hung hom, you'd need a bus unless you can hoof it from TST.

Problem is most flats in that area are old 'tong lau' style which is very traditional chinese. This means rooms of wrong proportions and a toilet/shower combo without the bath tub or shower cubicle.
