Question Mattress Frame

I have been trying to find a simple metal mattress frame for a queen size mattress (preferably with rollers). The bedroom in my new apartment only has a few cms of clearance once the mattress is in place, so there is no room for a headboard of any size. I really just want something to hold the bed off the floor.

So far all the stores in Hong Kong I've gone to have no idea what I am talking about. Although Wingon said they could custom build me a wood one for $7,000!

Does anyone know a place that I can find one? Thanks!

Perhaps you could try Wooden-based Spring Mattress from Ikea.
Wooden-base spring mattresses are nearly identical to spring mattresses, except that they have a self-supporting
wooden frame. This means you don’t need a separate bed frame or bed base. Just attach legs, add a mattress pad for extra comfort, and you’ve got yourself a complete bed.

Got one for myself as I really wanted to do away with headboards and storage under the bed.

Hope this helps!

Thank you!

Thanks for the info. I went to Jade Rattan at North Point and they agreed to custom make what I wanted. It took some explaining in Cantonese by my local friend, but I am very happy with what I ended up with.
