Coming Out Ha! The members are all coming out of the wood-work and offering advice... apprently the worse vice is advice. Anyways whoever came up with the "sugar mommy" idea was most likely having some fun, but hey while we're at it. Does anyone know of bored, married ladies in need of some attention. Oh and one more thing I'd like it to be known that I'd never advocate cheating on your husbands or wtv they call having fun nowadays. Husbands=yellow light. Drive through baby!

You guys are too late. Nina Kung is dead. Her funeral takes place tomorrow. Rumor has it that her BF is the sole beneficiary of her multi-billion dollar empire.

If all you want is a regular, easy job that pays, then why not go for the (still booming) English-teaching industry? Many such companies are looking for native English speaking individuals, and in many cases teaching certificates are not a must. For the pay...well, it may not be something that you guys aspire for, but all I can say is it's qutie respectable.

Before you come to HK or China to "make quick money" you should definitely read "Mr China" by Tim Clissold : an excellent and funny book on how to "loose money quickly" in China....

A lot of the fortunes that were recently made in China were made by economists working for the government. When Deng Xiao Ping liberalized the economy, they were in the best position to know what was happening, so they started, or invested in, new companies. Also, China had and has a lot of what are called SOE's, State Owned Enterprises. A lot of these were not very profitable but because of the structure of the government, it took time and is still taking time, to privatize them. If you are an insider in this process, you could be able to buy a company or a piece of it, and make some money if the company is well run and serves a growing market. Another factor is that a lot of these unprofitable SOE's are owned by the army. The CCP is trying to loosen the power of the red army, so when the army has to sell off some assets, you might get some bargains, if you have that kind of money. Another thing that is happening in China is that a middle class is growing fast. This means that the things the middle class buys will sell. Middle classes are buying cars and luxury items. Certain types of English schools are doing well. The stock in a Chinese English teaching company, EDU, started selling on the New York Stock Exchange a few weeks ago, and shot up even though only 5% of the stock of the company was available on the American market. This gives you an idea of of what is happening. If you can start a good English school, maybe with a partner from an English speaking country, you could make money. Another thing is that international companies are trying to get into the Chinese market, companies like Avon Products and Tupperware. These companies need salespeople. In America one of the ways people can make tremendous money is through sales. So if you are a good salesman, you can become rich and retire early. In all these ideas, you should be careful of market saturation. Places like Hong Kong and Shanghai may already be filled with people doing what you want to do, so there may no more room there and too much competition. You could think about going to a city that is just starting to come up like more to the west in China. Maybe there will be new cities growing because of the Three Gorges Dam project.
