| hi all, i am a dutch chinese who is currently looking for a job in hk. I was wondering whether my age (37) would be a problem for the hk job market i.e. is it working experience that really counts or are employers reluctant to hire a 37 year old who has never worked in hk before ? I do have reasonably cantonese skills (both spoken and written althought certainly not as good as a real hk) and i have close to 8 years of banking experience plus a hk id card. I was wondering whether anyone could give me some info and advice regarding this particular question? All replies would be highly appreciated!! thx and rgds ! |
