Many people do write in English on Chinese Forums because it's easier to type in English than Chinese, but I found the people in GeoExpat more sincere and better informed.

many hk local people complained they don't understand the English postings well, pls post in Chinese only for easy readership and better response of your message

Wow, I went to an international school here and I realize now how sad it is that I don't speak much Cantonese. I'm making amends though....slowly learning what I can and trying to use it as much as possible....
