Hi there..

I am a HK citizen..and my boyfriend is Canadian..we are planning to get married in HK next year..

there are few questions I would like to know

1. what are the procedures for getting married in HK
2. the procedures for getting the dependant visa for him
3. how long does it take for the visa to be approved
4. will he be able to work legally with the dependant visa?
5. when we move back to canada..what do I have to do to get the residence visa to stay in Canada?

i am HK citizen, my bf is canadian too. But you are luckier than me, your bf follow you to go back to HK with you. My boyfriend worrys he can't get a job/ very hard to get a job in hong kong for him. So he wants me try to look for a job in canada. I told him, i am just trying 1 or 2 yrs in canada, see if i can actually stand it, coz i ready left hong kong 7 yrs. I really want to move back to hong kong.
If one day i really move back to Hong Kong.

i wonder if it will be too hard for him to find a job. He is a native speaker, doesn't know any chinese, all he knows is english only. He has 6 yrs printing production experience, he only graduated from college, not univeristy. Will it to be too hard for him to find a job in hong kong? If he moves to HK too, what type of position and job he should look for would be better for him?
