I need to pick up a frined from the airport .... one option is to take a same day return ticket on the airport express ....is there any other (cheaper) option ?

eg. Like taking the MTR to Tung Chung and then catching a Bus / Cab from there to the Airport ...

If you catch a "cityflier" airport bus, with octopus card, your return will be half price.

I think Tung Chung line and then S1 bus is cheaper overall than bus. But more of a hassle (depending on where you live)

If you are getting the Airport Express back to HK with your friend, you might as well get the Airport Express there and back as it is the same price for a single and a return.

That seems reasonable ... yes I will be taking the Airport Express back with my friend .... thanks for your advise
