Any pay-as-you-go gym in Kowloon?

Hi all,

I am spending a week in Hong Kong on vacation, and would like to know if there are any gyms or clubs that offer pay-as-you-go plans ? Free weight or Nautilus would be great. Bonus if there's a swimming pool.

More convenient for me if it's on the Kowloon side or NT, but HK Island would work for me too. Any info's appreciated.

Steven

Are you not staying in a hotel ? most decent hotels do have swimming pool and gym facilities.

I don't think there is any to meet your case. But there are quite a few gyms who offering trial version for a week or so before you joining in as a member. Of course don't tell them you are a tourist. Sound a bit tricky but hey you are american, What can't you do!

There's one in Kowloon Park, but it requires HK id and a period of time to become a member...

Thanks for the quick response, guys.

EUChinese - not staying at a hotel, unfortunately.

Punk - The membership registration thing is not a problem for me, but the wait /processing time could be; given the short stay.

If there aren't other options, I just might have to go shop for bags of rice and use them as weight. What size do they come in? 10 lb? 20 lb.. perhaps even 40? Just kidding =)

Is it even necessary to go to the gym whilst on vacation?

You could give gym a miss for a week and get back into it the next week with no problems.

Sometime you got to give your body a week rest for recovery after intense gym workout. You never heard of that?
