This is a great forum. People are cool (I hope) and getting along unbelievably well which is rare. I was born and raised in HK. My family immigrated to Calif. Some years ago. Speak fluent antonese and English, but still polishing my Putongua. I am an engineer in the semi-con field. Love to travel and have been to most places you guys are from. But I still keep coming back to HK every couple years for the food and "Yeun Yang" tea. I like to sing, billiard, fishing and ballroom dancing.

BBC...back to HK for a good 10years but back n forth to visit friends and family in UK. Work is boring so I wont discuss that but love traveling around the world. HK is 24hr non stop action but I doubt very much it will be my end stop.

Apa Khabar?

Hi eh? just saw this thread today.. hope you had a great New Year's Eve, I surely did and thanks to Geo for a good start in HK.

I'm neither here nor there..hihih.. I'm a Sabahan Born, Malaysian...travelling between Malaysia-HK-China-South Africa for the next few months for event meetings and roadshows.. I first got to HK Mid November 2005 and was lucky to have found Geo Expat one fine day, feeling homesick after being away just 2 weeks then..suddenly popped up on my pc screen..

Had a great time eatin, drinkin and dancin on xmas eve at Knutsfords Terrace and NYE from Schnurrbart to Hei Hei Club and most of all met the nicest people from this web.. I hope it wont stop.. Will be coming back in a month's time to haunt u Geos

Hi,
I'm moving to HK in 5 days (ahhh!). I'll be teaching english. Looks like this is a good site for meeting some friends. Any other advice for meeting people (ie. clubs?)
