Weather in Bali at Xmas

Hi Guys, does anyone know what the weather is like in Bali at Xmas time. We where going to go but have been told it's overcast and rainy at that time of year. Anyone know any different?

Maybe not, doesn't seem like any where is safe these days though

Any other suggestions on a fab place for xmas with good weather and snorkelling?

Not in Phuket which is the other end of Thailand. Its a very nice spot with the markets only about 10mins up the road. I've seen more street ladies in WanChai to be honest! You can do lots of day trips there and do things like snorkelling, monkeys, or elephant ride through the hills. You can go to where the movie 'The Beach' was filmed.

There aren't a lot of street girls in Bali. Was there for Christmas last year and it was hot & humid the whole time. Morning and early afternoons was normally sunny but clouds would form mid-afternoon and there'd be a huge downpour. Very quickly afterwards the clouds would go away, the sun would come back out and it would be very steamy! It did rain for about three days straight though - take a brolly.
