| I appreciate we're a year on from this thread since being posted but hopefully you guys are still about. In your view, for somebody like me who doesn't speak any chinese and is pretty new to HK even. Is it worth me making the trek to Shunde? I am looking for a completely custom built cabinet for my cd's, decks, projector, LP's. It'll be a pretty simple design but needs to be of exact measurements. I also want to buy a couple of other peices that don't need to be custom made. (side board and chest of drawers).
Are the savings that great compared to say...Horizon plaza, Ap Lei Chau, that its worth the visa application and travel time/expense.
What is the general experince like? Is it difficult to find the furniture shops once you get off the ferry? Is it easy to get across your requirements and are the results accurate to your requests?
I'd really appreciate it if anyone can spare the time to answer any of this. Thanks |
