Yea, the whole PC division was sold to Lenova...including management, designers, engineers, etc.. So currently, Thinkpads are still Thinkpads.

Toshiba R10

Hi all

I'll be arriving in HK in Jan 2006. I intend to pick up a Tosh R10 Tablet PC and then travelling in China for two weeks. Any ideas on:

1) Best shop to pick up the piece ( I need an international warranty. I picked up an Acer the last time I was there in 2000, but the thought of comparison shopping again is pretty daunting! ).
2) Best solution to keep in touch with email ( I have a triband GSM phone - should I pick up a China-specific SIM card and connect with my phone or are there decent wireless hotspots in China/Beijing? )

I am open to ordering online and picking it up on arrival, if its available from a non-brick and mortar store. Any ideas, guys?

Go to a bricks and mortar store such as in wanchai computer centre or mongkok, they're more flexible on prices that way too.
