Smile HK Working Holiday Visa on Oz Passport

Hi guys,

Hoping someone can help me out with this question - I have been going round and round in circles trying to find the answer!

I'm an Australian with a year long working holiday visa for Hong Kong. When I arrived in HK in September, passport control stamped my visa with 'Journey Completed' and on the visa it has a number 1 next to number of entries allowed to HK. Which seems odd??

I have to go to Shenzhen on Thursday for work and although I have applied for my visa for China (and pick it up tmrw), I'm worried that I am going to have trouble getting back into HK.

Does anyone know the deal re working holiday visas? Or can you direct me to the right people to talk to?
Sorry - I know this is a boring question but I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone and I don't want to sleepover in Shenzhen!

Thanks all!!

From the ImmD website here: http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/hkvisas_10.htm

"For more information about visa application under the Scheme, please contact the HKSAR Immigration Department on (852) 2824 6111, by fax (852) 2877 7711 or by email enquiry@immd.gov.hk."

But I really don't think you're going to have a problem - the "journey completed" is simply to indicate the day on which the clock started running on your one year. It's the same for any fixed term entry visa (there are 3 or 6 month entertainer visas for bands playing in bars and so on which are the same).

Yeah I had to deal with the same worries as well. I'm on a working visa to HK on an Oz passport. I left for Macau one day with my friends and realised on the boat there that I may not be able to return to work in HK (as I only had a one entry visa pass to HK). However, I got thru customs fine. The immigration officer said I am still able to continue work in HK which i have been for the past 9 months.

so don't stress =)
