Looking for Lian Li computer cases

Are there any good HK online computing stores, that stock Lian Li PC cases? I just want to see if I can get hold of a Lian Li PC-6070 case in Hong Kong, and how much it should cost.

I'll probably end up going to Windsor House and getting it from there if they have them, or maybe 298, but I'd like to see if any website shows local prices, or maybe has some place where I could configure a custom PC and have it delivered, as I'm quite lazy

Oh, and how much does a typical 17" TFT monitor cost here? They cost more than they're worth (compared to CRTs) in the UK, but I guess they're cheaper here - just not sure how much.

PS - Is it just me, or do the post icons on the new forum (to indicate unread posts) seem inverted. I keep thinking silver icons mean "new posts".

Try Wanchai Computer center... much better selection than Windsor or 298.

Windsor House is really just for laptops and is very expensive. Try Wancahi or Mong Kok (Nelson street/Tung Choi Street) which is slightly cheaper and has a larger selection.

Oh yes, just noticed that. It's listing various PC cases sites for me - no specific Lian Li or Hong Kong ones though. But still, that's quite neat.

I've checked Google and the usual, but searches like "Lian Li cases Hong Kong" bring up nothing much. I don't need to find out about Lian Li cases themselves, I already know what type of things I want and what they are, I'd just like to see if a local store or HK website has them for sale.

I'll check the Wanchai Computer Centre shortly, it's on Hennessy Road near MTR C I think (by the basketball courts)? Hopefully they'll be able to get hold of the type I'm looking for.

Confused

Hi guys, I always thought Wanchai Computer Center was 298. I must be confused? Where is Wanchai Computer Center? I was shopping for a webcam and I got one at 298 and one at Sham Shui Po. The one at SSP seems to be abit cheaper. I have no idea what's a Lian Li computer case. Any clarifications? I'm interested in computer products as well.

This is the particular one I'm interested in;
http://www.lian-li.com/product.php?a...wPD&prdid=1106

Lian Li are basically well known for making extremely high quality anodised aluminium computer cases - which both look cool and conduct heat well, to keep the computer cooler (so running faster and more relibable).

That particular one is very nice, as it looks like a neat fridge The front door panel covers a lot of the mess, and all the panels are insulted with rubber, so aside from looking nice and keeping temperatures low, it's almost silent too.

I though 298 was the big Wanchai computing place too but someone just confirmed to me that the Wanchai Computer Centre is a seperate place and "they don't sell any pirate software ".

298 is further down towards Causeway Bay. It's not actually really near any MTR station. It's smaller and there's a big "298" sign right above the escalator that takes you into the centre.

Wan Chai Computer Centre (WCC) is right outside one of the Wan Chai MTR exits. It's about 100 yards from Southern Playground (concrete basketball courts and football pitch) and is a bit more touristy and an ever so slightly bit more expensive.

Well, I found the Wanchai Computer Store no problem - it was next to the basketball courts as I suspected. Nearby, so no hassle getting there.

Didn't spot any Lian Li computer cases, it seemed to be more internal hardware and laptop stuff. So I found out about some good external firewire hard drives for my laptop, and stared at a few of the nice Vaio notebooks (I've got a five month old Vaio Z1SP and I already want the new-and-improved model :-/ ).

I guess it shouldn't be too hard to find the Lian Li cases, they may still even have them in the Wanchai Computer Store - but I've learnt from shopping in Hong Kong, that if I'm not 100% certain about buying it then and there, and can't find it myself, I don't ask - as the salesmen always try to pressure you into buying it right then. "I think I'll come back tomorrow evening once I've had a look around" is the only escape plan and even then the salesmen look disappointed.

I bought my Lian Li case (PC7USB) in Wanchai form the computer mall.

I cannot remember the name of it but if you go into the mall and turn left down the corridor that goes away from the stairs, at the end, on the inside of the corner is a shop which is where I bought my machine parts.
