Usually sign up promotions are there all around the year with any bank especially when economy is doing well and defaulter ratio goes down..

they are the only bank who managed to f*** up nearly every single interaction with them (I have banked with several banks in my live and have also worked in retail banking so I know what I am talking about):

forgetting my first apointment (I was on a 6hour stopover coming from Europe!), opening the wrong account, taking 4 months (!!!) to process my credit card application, never calling me back, charging outrageous fees for direct account-to-account-transactions....

I was told by colleagues that this is typical for Citibank HK, not living up to Citibank standards elsewhere.
solution: open HSBC account, great service, fast, efficient, good fees =>

Please take my advice and don't waste your time on Citibank HK. go to HSBC directly (no, I don't work for them
