I have been to a few of the propety expos here at the convention center recently, and Thailand seems a good holiday home investment opportunity. Anyone out there with any experience of buying property on Samui or Phket islands?

Seriously -- overrated as an investment. Once the property expos start.. you know a significant part of your investment is going into marketing the property.

(Just an opinion based on investing where administrative costs / marketing overheads are low.

You'd be amazed how many dodgy deals come our way ... "can you help us promote this in exchange of large amounts of cash if people buy". No thank you.)
