Onya Johnny

Dear Johnny, gotta love ya...

" Prime Minister John Howard has congratulated the Socceroos for their nail-biting win which has qualified them for soccer's World Cup.

And Mr Howard has agreed that bosses might turn a blind eye to workers turning up a bit late on Thursday following Wednesday night's long match........

......Despite the government's radical plans to change the industrial landscape, Mr Howard was in agreement when asked if bosses should be lenient if workers were in a little late on Thursday morning after the lengthy late night match.

"Yes," he said emphatically.. "

I'm sure Kewell will be up to his usual games, play a blinder in 3 games in World Cup, go to Mardrid for 20 million quid and 100 grand a week, pull a hammy game two of spanish season and see his contract out to do a another 3 game performance in 4 years time...

Even though I'm English, great to see Aussies make it to the finals, be nice to draw them in the group in Germany as long as England win when it matters..
