Question How to open a phb file?

I happened to receive an image file in phb format which I was not able to view. Assuming that this was a photobase file I downloaded Arcsoft's photobase application but it's still no go!! Is there a simple way of opening phb files? Can someone please enlighten me?

Not familiar with photobase, but if it's a flat image you may be able to change the suffix to .jpg and open it.
Select the file in the finder and press F2, this will open the name for editing- take the .phb suffix off and replace it with .jpg or .psd or .eps- you may get lucky.

Lammarite, I did try to change the file extension but that did not work. Oh, I see that I did not mention that in my first post - it is a photo album in phb format.

Kostas, yeah, I did the obvious and asked the 'creator' of the file for a solution (much before I posted the query on Geoexpat). Yet to hear from her.

Looking at the innumerable responses to complex software/hardware questions that are regularly posted on this site, one would have expected quick solutions to a simple problem such as this. Or on second thoughts, my query is prolly too petty for our super geeks to answer!

That had me stumped. I'm assuming its one of their slide show / multimedia files and not a simple jpg.

My knowledge of this ends at the fact that Adobe does not have a clue about .phb extensions.
