Serviced apts that let pets stay

One of my friends is moving to HK at end-Dec and would like to stay in a serviced apt for a month. But he has a cat and he says that some of the apartments do not allow pets. Any advice? Thanks.

Also, DeRicou (sp?) in the Repulse Bay. We stayed there for a month with our 2 cats.

I kept a snake in my serviced apartment even though it had a "no pets" policy. If they ever caught on, I would state their contract said "no pets" but nothing about live animals. I would argue that we were prepping the snake to turn him into soup.

Unfortunately Paulie (the snake) escaped because I forgot to put the paperweight on the fish tank.

I plan on buying a new one though and being much more careful. I had Paulie for 11 months with no problems. He was fed hamsters on a weekly basis.

Seriously people if you are not responsible enough to take care of a pet don't get one.

It's pretty common for cornsnakes to escape. Believe me I usually very careful with my snake, but my parents came to visit me and all the hectic stuff I had to deal with caused me to totally forget to put the paperweight on.

I spent weeks trying to look for him, and only found his droppings. I think he crawled out of my apartment. There is a snake soup restaurant close by.
