I am a member at Cal Fitness, TST. They have always had a problem with theft in the locker rooms but of late it seems to be happening almost daily. It seems like the crooks are carrying large lock cutters or are getting them from someone in the club. There have also been a lot of robberies on the gym floor. The cops seem to be there almost daily and it is a bit disturbing.

Does this happen at all the Gym's in HK as the manager of Cal claims? or is this place just notorious for this?

Is it ok to carry a photocopy of my ID card instead of the real deal? I am a bit concerned about losing my ID as some of the thieves seem to be into ID cards.

Not heard of this happening in Pure (Hollywood Rd). But then ... I'm not there everyday.
