TV Sucks big time here!
so i was all excited to finally get TV out here...signed up for Broadband NOW....and started watching HBO, Cinemax, Star Movies, Mei Ah Movies, etc.....

they are all chopped to hell and censored like a religious nut.....


there is no cursing, no nudity, no excessive violence......what a waste of crap....

if i wanted to watch disney movies i would have got the disney channel....

anyone else find this annoying? i am quite surprised that HK does this.....is it being broadcast from China? I know these channels in US (HBO, Cinemax) are nothing like this......is it something with my TV or box?

The feeds are HBO / Cinemax shared with Singapore / Malaysia.... ergo ..

wtf man.... this blows..... i am gonna have to d/l so much crap....
is there a way to get TV stations broadcast from US?

yeah and the 70s like (superfriends) show is on boomerang while the newer justice league is on cartoon network.

You moved to HK to, um, watch tv? Maybe you should check out the city instead...

lol...yes "thats" why i moved here...

actually i explore most of the day and travel to neighboring countries at least once a week......im here for work...and will live here for quite some time....but that doesnt mean i am not allowed to relax as if i actually live here....im not a tourist anymore...im a perm. resident...so i think i can afford to watch my fav. TV shows or enjoy some "quality" programming from time to time....
