| I have a small local site, based in HK. www.martyn.hk I registered my .hk domain name with Hong Kong Domain Name Registration Company Limited, http://www.hkdnr.hk .hk is more expensive than .com. I believe you can get .coms for about HK$80 now. .hk is HK$250 p/y. I got the host company, http://www.odysseyhost.com, from the back of eZone. The magzine always has adverts from local companies. I have a fairly basic package and have no complaints about the service. My only critism is that the ip is shared and the site can be slow at times. All done online. |

| 1. Register your domain as .com, it gives you a global identity. 2. anybody can register you, Yahoo and 1and1 are both recommended. 3. if you would like to do it yourself you should consider domaindirect.com they have an excellent, easy-to-use website builder as part of their economial hosting package ($80.00 us/yr) and that includes the domain registration. good luck |
