Movies in Hong Kong

i'm gunno be holidaying in HK for bout 2 weeks later this month, and being the film buff that i am one of the things on my to-do list is to get some HK DVD's (both the leagl & illegal kind), so i was just wondering where is the best to go for some good DVD's

also another thing on my to-do list, is to go catch a HK film at the cinemas, anyone know of any cinemas that are in the vicinity of the Eaton Hotel on Nathan Road, Kowloon.

thanks in advance

Can't help you with the copy DVDs but we have HMV, Hong Kong Records and CD Warehouse for the legit stuff. Head down to 1/F, Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui for a large branch of HKR and Peking Road for a large branch of HMV.

For the cinema experience I would go to Broadway at IFC, Central. It has the best layout, seats and ambience (what a crock of s**t I come out with).

Broadway Cinematheque. It is within walking distance from your hotel. You can do some late night shopping in the temple street after the movie.
The cinema is kind of small, but it offers lots of varieties.

cerberus is an unknown quantity at this point.
the Golden Harvest on Canton Road's pretty good, and Langham UA has all the new stuff but suffers from an abundance of obnoxious juvenile delinquents.
