| An Offer I am an qualifed accountant from australia. Got an offer from one of the big 4 doing tax, and they are paying me $14000 a month. Do you guys think the pay is a bit less, as I have no hk tax experience?? Any comments?? thanks |

| $14000 hk? and its one of the big four? ouch! I won't even bother getting out of bed for that sort of money and yes I've worked for one of the big fours in London. |

| Are they offering you an entry level position? That seems a bit low if it's for candidate with at least some experience. |

| 14k a month could be considered quite low if you're experienced, qualified, and its with one of the 'big 4'. The hours here can be very long - you could find yourself doing a lot of unpaid overtime too. However... what else are they offering? Housing allowance could double that straight away. Free trips home? Any other expenses? |

| Run Forrest, Run! That's not worth leaving home for. You'll have trouble keeping your head above water in Hong Kong for that- not impossible, but very hard. |
