There is a little shop for sewing accessories in Western Market. When you enter the main entrance turn sharp left. The have sewing pattern, threads, needles, buttons and so on. On the second floor you'll find plenty of little shops selling fabrics.
If you pefer Kowloon side take the MTR to Jordan Station. Get off exit C2. Left and right you'll find several shops selling all kinds of fabric. When you walk straight ahead there is a little shop selling knitting material (located right on the street junktion - sorry forgot the name of that little alley). Next to it at the first floor is the most amazing shop for sewing materials.
There are options. For large variety of stuff you can try going to Shum Sui Po, as in at Kowloon side. If you're in Hong Kong side, you can try: 1. Sheung Wan - Western Market ; 2. Central - there's a place named... Sek Baan Gaai, forgot the name in English, but it's somewhere near Central MTR station which got lots of stalls ; 3. UNY in Taikoo, a bit more expensive but got nice variety.
oh would you mind giving me directions to spotlight? the one in megabox kwln?? im kinda new in hk and i have no idea where that is..
There is a shuttle bus to the Megabox from Kowloon Bay MTR station.
The 641 from Central stops right in front of it too - it goes from 7:00 - 8:30am and again from 16:45 to around 20:00.
