Which passport???

now I have been granted my working holiday visa i need to leave HK to validate it...but i have one problem, i have two passports. I came into HK on my british one, but the working holiday is granted for my aussie one, so if i go to macau or shenzhen i will have to leave HK on my british one, but then i need to come back in on my aussie one, however i will have the visa for macau/shenzhen on my british one, so they will be totally confused...like me right now ...has anyone else had to do this? or does anyone know the easiest way of going about it?

Leave using the British one (so that it doesn't look as though you've overstayed - not that it really matters though). Visas for China are a lot cheaper on an Australian passport and you shouldn't need a visa for Macau. So once you've left, just use your Australian passport.

My HK visa is in my British passport, so if I go to Shenzhen, I exit HK immigration using my Brit passport, and enter China using my Australian passport (because I'm cheap). For multiple entry visas, it seems you must use your passport containing your HK visa.

i'm kind of in the same boat. i have a canadian passport and an HK ID card (right to land-not eligible for HK's special 'return home visa' to the mainland). i work in HK using my ID card but when i visit the mainland, i exit HK with my HK ID card, then I pull out my canadian passport with a chinese visa to present to mainland customs officials. no problems! good luck.

it's not a problem at all... i, too have two passports(canadian &brit)....just take both passports leave on the one that has your current visitor visa... then enter macau on whichever one you want... exit macau on the same one that you entered on... when you get back to HK enter on the aussie passport... if they have any questions, which they shouldn't, you can show them your other passport...

good luck!
congratulations!
have fun!
