Hi Everyone, can someone recommend a buildign in Western Mid Lvels, i quite like the suburb, its proximity to central (means I can go hom within 10 mins ! since I will be working pretty damn hard!)

Wilton Place and Gold Pavillion seem nice and within my budget (ie for a 1 - 2 bder, under 9k).

Any comments/suggestions are welcomed.

bonham road is about 15mins walk to escalator, and if you go straight down the hill--you'll hit queen central road. downside--transportation is bus or walking. but it's decent. there's several real estate agents on that road, so you can shop around and compare.

loads of estate agents on Robinson Road. Up the escalators and turn right. There is at least 4 next to each other.

so how long it will take me to walk to Queen Central Road? Why is bus a downside? Is it because the place is not near MTR?

I am not a morning person, so I was hoping to find a place 5 - 10min from Cnetral (hehe by taxi or bus I suppose) ...

just found YP map and found exact location of where I will be working, its the corner of Wyndham Street and Queensroad Central, almost right next to central station.

well, waiting for the bus is a pain, because they don't come often in the afternoon or night. i'm not exactly sure how long it takes to walk down the hill, but i'll time it and see. the cost of taxi from western mid-level to wan chai is about 28 hk dollars--so to central would be cheaper. if you do end up living here, welcome to the neighborhood.

that's no good, as I will probably be working late, buses at night is pretty important... hmmmm... good pt

say it costs 20 HK which is like $3.5 in AUD... that is like almost how much I pay for bus in Sydney LOL

but not sure a gal taking a taxi is actually safe, are those taxi drivers reliable?
