Question Minibuses

I don't need to take minibuses and for that I am grateful. When I do it is because there is no choice other than trying to find a taxi.

Most of the time I get off feeling like I've been on a fairground ride.

lol...wusses

and i don't mean that badly...so don't take offense.

i remember taking some so called mini-busses in western china....man oh man....

it was basically a mini van with inside stripped out and some broken metal stools scattered about...

every time i rode it there had to be 100 people crammed in there....
they also seemed to choose to drive on the roads that were hit with the most bombs or meteors or whatnot....

one time we were so packed in there that we were actually being pushed out the window....some people were exiting through the windows......plus it happened to be raining, so every time a truck passed they would send a tidal wave of dirty water through the windows and give us all a nice refreshing bath

but even after all that....i'd do it again.....
think of it as a cheap trip to a theme park and your on the "log flume" for those of you who know that ride

Hey, does anyone know where I can get info. on minibus routes? There are many that go through Mong Kok and I'm particularly interested in a direct route to Sai Kung...

Get a HK street directory. Near the back is a section devoted to those revving minibuses.

Punk, minibuses to Sai Kung from Mong Kok can be boarded on Dundas Street next to the Kwong Wah Hospital off Waterloo Road. They run for 24 hours.
