There were a number of things to celebrate for the German community of Hong Kong that evening in the HKCEC.

1- 50 years consulate general of the Federal Republic of Germany
2- 40 Years Goethe-Institut Hongkong
3- 20 Years German Chamber of Commerce

The majority of the German community turned out for the event where all the finest German dishes and drinks were available. From White beer to sausages it was a great feast.

After scanning the room there seemed to be some major business figures in the room, most of the ones I spotted were in the food and beverage industry such as Blue Girl Beer.

Was a good and fun networking night was only a bit of some line singing and no funky house dj on the stage which would have gone down quite nicely.

I realised that the front of the convention centre is still an excellent venue for a dance music party, hope someone could afford it though!
