Do HK primary schools start in September or August? And what time do schools start and end? We are moving out to HK in the next few months and I am looking to teach out there. Just trying to plan ahead accordingly.

are you talking about international schools or local schools?

british/french/german swiss schools start in sept
american/canadian schools start in aug

i think local schools start in sept

Thank you for the info. Do you happen to know what time in the morning school starts and what time it ends? Typically in HK, do students go to school 5 days a week or do some go 6 days a week? Is that usually based on the type of school?

there is no "typical" schedule unless the kids go to a local school... otherwise, every school is different...

you need to decide which school you want then you can find out the info that you need.
