punters will be pleased to know that Sir Cliff will be appearing at the Hung Hom stadium AKA The Colosium AKA The Canto Pop Hangout

A live performance of Sympathy for The Devil by Guns N Roses, I once witnessed did not require external sources of heat.

Puhleees ! With all due respect to Sir Cliff, I'm about to get a heart attack seeing Lucky Lips mentioned in the same forum as the Stones. Cease and desist KK.

And to all: yes the HKCEC is the crappiest venue possible for the Stones concert. What a shame that we don't have a decent concert venue in Hong Kong Asia's world-class city or whatever it is called. Quite surprising really.

But I've just got to go to the concert. Since unlike Shri I don't have any customers who want to see me urgently during those days, I have to catch the Stones in HK or not at all. HKCEC notwithstanding.

Talking

Axtooly gf I only mentioned the evergreen one to illustrate the type of acts that end up at the Colosiem No endorsement or encouragment was implied to go see the wavy wigged wonder.

I'm just waiting for the green light for Bombay/Bangalore to come on, for sure the Stones at either city would be way way better then here
LOCK and LOAD

ps the english brew I alluded to at RT was Ruddles-any taste tips?

Yeah I've had the Ruddles organic wheat ale. Strong, wholesome, quite refreshing. A good drink to have before breakfast.

By the way, SCMP has finally confirmed that they're giving me a regular once-a-month column on beer starting March. So more trips to the RT and other such places are on the cards.

unfortunately Paul, the landed gentry whom you so succintly refer to as "old farts" would not even sniff at at a 5C much less "bugger off" for the evening .

A much more practical solution would be to have a movable roof for the Stadium, and in the long run more economical
