Like I said, that was just in reference to most chinese girls I personally know. I can't really say much for the majority of the population but it is totally beyond me how a local and a westerner can have a relationship when most of the locals have really really bad english.... same with filipinas... I know it can happen, but it's just beyond me how two people can really fall in love if they can't really communicate. Or maybe that is why they fall in love.. after all, the more you know a person, the more there is to find not to like!

No, not saying they all do. I'm saying the majority of chinese girls I know do... either for the money or cause they think it's cool somehow to be with a westerner, that it raises their "social status". I always thought communication was important in relationships, so I really can't understand how to have a relationship with someone who wasn't fluent in the same language that I am in.

I think Jennifer’s view is a bit like painting all HK girls with the same color with her broad brush. Though some points are valid. Chinese women are not traditionally known for their curves. If one has a 34-26-34 figure, she would be attracting drooling eyes on the street. Majority of HK girls don’t hang around bars in the same proportion as women in the State. The kind that hangs around clubs and bars usually speak some English and that means they have been exposed to western cultures. Typically, the are looking for something Bigger if you know what I mean. I also agree that only a small percentage of the HK women couldn’t qualified to be called “good looking or attractive”. I am Chinese but I think HK girls nowadays are too shallow and superficial. It’s interesting how people from different culture get attracted and reacted to the opposite sex of other cultures. .
I was always attracted to blonde and blue eyes and who weren’t ! But I lot of Caucasian men I work with are proud to have Asian girlfriends and wife. I guess when you have steaks all your life, eating with chopsticks will be fun for a change!.

I have a British bf. I feel bad when some people think I am superficial to go out with western men actually. I can see it when they look at you strangely being together with them. I can see the point jenniferc made though and it's true for some particular kind of people.

That’s what I mean. Most Chinese girls won’t revel their measurements but you are definitely no the typical Chinese girl. Since you understand Eng reasonable well, you must have decent education. By the way, I think your figure is already better than and beyond the average HK girls if you height is in the 5,3-5,5 range; especially with the cup in “C” class.
