Dearest Geoexpaters,

Desperate advise needed! Ideas are welcome too!

I am going to buy some furniture including bed, but I have been cracking my head off where to get them with affordable prices (IKEA's kinda prices) beside shopping in IKEA.

Wanna get 2nd hand items but I don't have a car to collect them from door-to-door.

No car? Just call a van service, they're cheap and reliable, or can otherwise dismantle and fit into a cab.

Pricerite, they are even cheaper than ikea.
Most western furniture shops, i.e. G.O.D, OVO, Aluminium etc are xpensive unless ur just buying bits and bobs in which case they arent so bad. Otherwise brave the local furniture stires, they will be cheapest option

Pricerite is everywhere, check out their website, think it has locations, but its all over the place. Its all flatpack stuff i think....

P.s. youd be surprised just how much you can get in a HK cab...

HECOM in Causeway Bay (in the building where Jusco 10-dollar shop is located). Inexpensive.

In Wanchai you can order Chinese furniture made for you.
Either in wood or rattan, bamboo, etc.

There are lots of designer shops along the road in Hung Hom, when you take the number 26 KMB bus from TST Star Ferry Pier.
