Do you think your taxi driver would like to do this deal with me too? but the average costs of my trip is only around HK30 or below depends on traffic in Central.

it appears to me that it is 5 dollars extra if you ring up and they have a taxi there and then. However this hardly ever happens, especially in the morning and therefore if you ring up say an hour beforehand to book, they charge an extra 15 dollars and they ring you back with the taxi number.

thanks but i don't want to ring up everyday as I hate talking to those girls. I would like to get off the ferry everyday and there is a taxi waiting for me outside the pier instead of running off the ferry like an idiot fighting for a taxi with others.

If I were a taxi driver, would I take a chance and get in the queue and pick up a passenger who say, might want to go to Quarry bay?

OR

Would I wait for what I know will be a fixed fare to Wanchai for $30, $45 if the construction gods grant my blessings?

Seriously, would you really look like an idiot if you were to stand in line with everyone else and wait for a taxi?
