"We have a 2710 in the office.
I really like the wireless abilities of the 2710".
Blurgghh the world of objects, question are you happy with the 2710, and do you think its better, for the price, over the 2610?

my situation - prob need a good quality scanner (and even one that scans transparencies?) and printer but I would only use it sporadically, so have been a bit flummoxed about what to buy. Oh well, guess I will have to surf the net guess and go through that endless consumer ratings sites. So boring

A film scanner will do the transparencies better than any flat-bed scanner. I think film developers can take your transparencies.

Thanks for the reply DiscoB, after thinkin about it prob. will go for a cheaper flatbed and then just get the transparencies scanned by prof. Looking at the prices the film scanners that i used to use, microtek and canon, are still pricey for limited usage.
(ps do people tell you to dancedancedance, handsupindaair or is it just a location? )

the only problem is if your house has a "dehumidifier"
your inkjet player will most likely be dried up (of inks) before you actually use your inks....

**this is what's happening to my Epson Inkjet printer.
I now switch to Epson Color Laser printer as they are super cheap now!!
(the original all-in-one inkjet set is using only as a scanner)
