My husband and I are forming a book club with the aim of enjoying reading and discussing a range of different books. Our next book is Peace Like a River by Leif Enger. If you would like to join us we will be meeting on 19th November (Saturday) from 3pm onwards which gives you plenty of time to read the book.

I used to be part of a book club at home before moving out here, so would love to be part of one again.

Hello, yes, we meet every 6 weeks on Saturday from 3pm onwards. Can you give me your email address so that I can send you update by email?
During each meeting, the person who suggested the book will start the discussion. It is very informal and you are free to share your opinion about the book.

At the end of the discussion, we will decide on the next book. Perhaps you may want to bring a list of books that you would like to share with us. We can look at the review on Amazon.com together and vote which book as the next book.

At the moment, we have 5 members from different countries (UK, Malaysia, Japan, South Africa) It is very interesting to listen to views from different culture and background.

We welcome more people to join us!

We enjoyed this afternoon's meeting. The book "Peace like a River" prompted very different responses and a range of discussions. How far would you go to protect your family and your loved one??? Only one of the member enjoyed the book but everyone had a lot to say. Let's see if "Hotel Babylon" by Imogen Edwards-Jones is more well received or not. The next meeting is on 14th of January, Saturday, at 3pm. Please email me for details if you would like to join us.
