TVix is $1390 at Maxfair in Wanchai Computer Center. That is just for the unit, you have to buy/install a hard drive separately.

Bought one yesterday but haven't hooked it up yet.

You don't need to convert anything, just make sure your DVD player supports DivX format. Just burn the episodes in avi onto the disc. Insert into the DVD player and there you go!

If you use a burning program like Nero, it converts before burning. But i would think most DVD players nowdays would play AVI, DivX etc...

Considering the movies were Miss Congeniality, Red Planet, and Daredevil, that is some pretty harsh punishment. At least he doesn't have to spend three months watching those movies. Now that would be some serious punishment.

Best way to play them IMO is with a Media box like TVIX (www.tvix.co.kr). Picked one up in SSP and stuck in a 400G HD. It plays all audio and video files.

hey, so you can watch the xvid 350mb files of Lost u dl fine?? I read that it can't play a lot of xvid files! Also can it always be upgraded with software so it's compatible with the latest codecs?
