Blackberry Hey there, I am in the process of looking into a blackberry for my return to HK. I currently use Tmobile in the US. They of course support Blackberry's. Can I use the Tmobile Blackberry in HK. Do you get hit with crazy fees? Also, are there blackberry plans in HK that dont kill you when you travel to the US. Any help would be most appreciated. Also, my company has our own mail server but I will be using the first blackberry. Anyone know how difficult it is to setup? Please I need some help. Thanks in advance. Cheers!!

That's right first ensure that it is atleast dual band supporting 900 and 1800MHz and unlocked. Three phone networks here offer BB data services. They are CSL's One2Free and 1010, Hutchison's '3' and Vodafone/SmarTone. Last I looked only the first two offer an unlimited data plan. Roaming is not cheap.

I had a 7100T from TMobile when I moved out here. Before I left I got the unlock code - just told tmobile I was moving out of the coutry. This also worked for getting out of my contract. The phone works fine here with the new SIM. I use CSL but they are pretty expensive because I have to roam so much (travel a lot).

Different sync procedure .. Blackberry email is pushed, treo is pulled. Some people love it .. some hate it.

| Personally, I don't think the devices are that good. I think the key is, if your company supports the BB service then it is great, if not, there are better options. BTW, if the company supports BB it is not just push email, it is also wireless sync of tasks, appointments, calendar (and group appointment creation), address book (and exchange server address lookup), notepad, etc. Quote:
