i couldnt help but notice you'd utilised your laptop as a secondary monitor - or at least thats how it looks - could i do that with a Dell Inspiron 5100 (aka BrickTop)?

P.s. I expect to see you lot trying out your Quake Arena/Doom III/Half Life 2 (etc etc) skills for real in the paintball arena...

yes there are multiple ways to do it using free software.
I use Multiplicity from Nzone or Real VNC.
Only o controll my workstation, Netserver and local Movie/music server from my notebook.
Works great.
L_M please for the love of god DONT rethink your specs!!
Or do the next best thing call mom & dad and begg untill your throat is sore.. so you can get THE best of everything... and thats it.. you dont have to worry anymore!

Thats not very nice! Im pretty sure what im getting now, just gotta pick a motherboard - and then find time to venture to Mongkok (no 104 bus).

Even done the reseach on power adapters...

Of course, i may have to rethink the budget on the case, i was going to try and haggle one into the deal, but now....

(maybe do a smash and run on a shop in WCC and get an Xoxide, heheheh)

Yep. Used it as a secondary monitor on a makeshift stand! I use MaxiVista which allows you to extend your desktop to your laptop monitor via crossover cable! Cool, eh?

Why am I the only one posting pics here? Where are the other geeks???
