Hi all, I am currently a student in Canada and I would like the chance to one day work in Hong Kong. I am in 3rd year Mechanical Engineering and I was born in Hong Kong. I didn't get much opportunities to learn Chinese when I was young so I can only speak the language. I was wondering if any of you guys know my chances of finding a summer job in the field of engineering in the coming summer.

Does not being able to read and write Chinese automatically make employers pass me up?
I like to think of myself as a foreigner who can speak Chinese

To answer your question, there is a pretty small foreign engineers, of course i beg to differ if you are invited from overseas to join in a compnay and have many years of workign experience.
