Rotel is my essential, too.

I was just wondering if flyroy ever found the canned Rotel tomatoes or if I'm going to have to fill my suitcase with them on my next trip back from home. I NEED Rotel tomatoes. Adding chilies to regular diced tomatoes just doesn't cut it.

I've been told that Mitsukoshi will customise sheets if you buy them there. Also, you can take your existing sheets to any seamstress (in little shopping centres or hole-in-the-wall shops all over HK) and have them extended. The second option will result in mismatched extensions, but as they will be tucked under the bed it shouldn't matter.

It should be cheap. I'd expect something in the vicinity of HKD100 max.

Another option is to go to Shenzhen to have completely custom sheets done in the fabric of your choice.

Alas, too late to ask Mitsukoshi now - its closing-down sale was in the news recently.

if you dont mind the trek..

Kowloon Saeng is full of lil Thai supermarkets and the like.. they sell fresh Thai style chillies, and green chillis being one they use most, but warning, very potent. Best chillis ever though! Hope it helps
