Just turned 21

Tonight is my 21st birthday and I have not the slightest idea of what to do.

I'm here on vacation for 3 months and 1 month has already passed. I haven't really done much except for going out in the daytime and ocassionally buying some goods. I'm from Texas and I am having a difficult time getting used to everything.

I believe I am already acquainted with all entertainment available in the daytime but I have no earthly idea what is out there once the sun sets.

PLEASE enlighten me as to what night life there is in HK.

P.S. What does expat mean?

Congrats on turning 21. I'm just another 5 months myself...

I'm from Texas too. I'm from Houston but attend UT in Austin. I'm here for a semester as an exchange.

Lan Kwai Fung is a pretty good night entertainment area if you want to go drink/go clubbing.

Macau is cool if you want to go and gamble.

Other than that, it is pretty much just like Texas, movies, dinner and hanging out.

werd, I'm from Houston too. I forgot to add that I can only speak english and not a lick of canton or mandarin. I probably know more spanish than anything and it feels quite awkward to get greeted in cantonese everywhere I go. Don't know if that changes anything...

My parents actually live in Katy, but most people are more familiar with Houston than Katy

I only speak English too. I'm trying to learn Mandrin and Canto but I'm having a hard time with the tones.
