| Applying work permit for maid I will be relocating to HK from Bangkok next year Feb. Thought to bring along my current DH. Read through the procedure to apply for maid work permit where it's require the employer to show financial standing i.e. salary statements/slips for the last three months. Is that means that I can't apply for my DH to come over before I work for at least 3 mths? Would anyone have had any experience in this?  |

| You can, based on a contract from your employer showing your salary. You need about HK$200K in your account if you don't have any salary proof. So, if you want to get started... thats an easy way (for some, if you have that in your local HK account) to get started on the application. |
