I am going to sydney for a holiday soon and would like to pick up some basic aussie. If there are any Australians out there who can help... will exchange services for beer.

Looking for a native French speaker

Would any of the native French speakers involved in this forum be interested in coming to my place to tutor my 12 month old baby in French? It would involve basically playing with her and talking to her in French only. I would want you to come in the mornings for 1 hour (eg0900-1000). Please feel free to call me on 97455338/25378794 or email me dalerayner@yahoo.com. I will pay well of course.
Nicole

Great to meet all of you the other day - it's french immersion! Aurelie and arrobazz, don't forget about the promise of a nice, big french banquet in your lovely apartment at some point. It would make a nice gathering I'm sure. Ohlala, thanks for organizing these weekly/fortnight gatherings. Let's go for some of the french film fest movies together (J'aime la banane aussi, elle danse comme moi!! )
See you all again soon! I want to learn not just the language but all about the culture too!

Salut

Saturday afternoon gatherings are very strange. We should ban those altogether and make them illegal yeah. They always turn the rest of the evening into like a twilight zone. Plus they remind me of 1)panic brainstorm sessions 2)schmoozing-with-boss/client sessions 3)a lot of overdue work for monday deadline. Glad to meet you Kristof , Mariposita and Jacques . Let's meet again.

Kristof s'il te plait ecris ce que t'observe a HK aussi bien qu'en Chine (Shanghai ou j'sais pas) parce que je te trouve apercant, sensible et amusant...t'as qu'a te partager parmi nous ;-)

Ohlala will become famous soon enough
Hey Legatissimo, how's your trip in Shanghai? Are you an night owl and found our afternoon meeting disturbing you nap? ...lol....Have a cup of tea in a Saturday afternoon is very relaxing especially in a sunny day sitting outdoor like what we had on last Saturday. Before you arrived, we have been to the Jazz festival in the hk park and shared lots of jokes..hehe.

Mariposita, which movie(s) you are interested in? Gaelle and Arrobazz recommanded : The Beat that My Heart Skipped, French Men, and Anthony Zimmer. I think Merry Christmas is also a good one.

Each meeting seems we have not enough time to talk to everyone. It was very nice to meet Mariposita, Jacques, Kristof, and the two friends of Kristof....oh, also Gaelle's husband as well.....let's talk more about Feng Shui next time...c'est intéressant!

Shoegirl is joining our next meeting too. Tulip, you should show up sometime, ok?

Agreed with Legatissimo about his points. Not that I am against about being at the park on a Saturday afternoon but people might think I am one of those 'pun mui sister' hanging around with you. I just hate myself for being not there last weekend!!! When is the next meetings, Oh la la?
