Work Visa plus dependant who applies?

I am in the final stages of negotiating my moving package to Hong Kong.

Is it feasible that my company will apply on my behalf or do I still make the application personally?

Will my girlfriend who will be my wife when I move to HK be eligable for a dependents visa even though at the time of application she won't technically be married to me?

Are these applications separate or joint?

Finally am I right in saying that it is a 4-6 weeks process to get the visa.

Thanks so much

Two applications:

1. You are applying for an Employment Visa, sponsored by your employer. If your employer has done this before they may well offer to walk the forms through the prcess for you, but technically it is always you who is applying for the visa.

2. Once you have the Employment Visa your wife may apply for a Dependent's Visa, with you as her sponsor. Again, your employer may walk the forms through the process, but it is your wife who is formally doing the applying. If she is not your wife at the time of application then you will have to show that the marriage is imminent, and then ImmD will probably process the application as if you were already married.
