Halloween Activities

This will be our first Halloween in Hong Kong. My children have asked me what we are going to do on Halloween. In the U.S. they would go trick or treating. I see decorations and costumes in the stores. How is it celebrated here? Or, is it?

The expats dress up and get drunk in Lan Kwai Fong and the locals come to watch and amuse themselves by taking pictures with the drunk and strangely dressed expats.

Luk,

How are old are your kids? A lot of expat buildings do trick-o-treat. Also the Halloween decorations at Ocean Park are amazing this year. A group of us are taking the kids there this Friday afternoon. Drop me a PM if you'd like to join us.

Rani

To KnowItAll, Thanks for the info, but I was really thinking of something more suitable for children.

To Rani, Thanks for the invite, but we will be out of town on Friday. Thanks also for the heads up on Ocean Park.
