I am planning to move to HK before Xmas. However, I am still looking for an appartment or village house. Location are Clear Water Bay or HK island. Tight budget, HK$ 8k inclusive. Is it possible? I don't mind sharing with another expat!

Should be easily possible, I'm in a 700 ft 2 bed apartment in sai kung which is just down the road from clearwater and am paying 6k a month.

Depending on where you work, you should be able to find good deals on Lamma also.

I love the area you are staying right now. Do you know anyone wanna rent out their places? HK$ 6k inclusive? Is it 1/F or 2/F? Please advise.

Thanks for your tip, Knowitall! I will be working in HK Island. Opening a business there but I love living in village house coz it is quiet and peaceful! Any suggestions?

Shirley, I'm on the 1st floor, its 6k exclusive of bills.

I don't know anybody thats wanting to rent out a place personally but theres usually a lot available, If I come across anything I'll let you know.

I am looking just for myself coz i am moving to HK real soon. I was told that Clear Water Bay and surroundings are quiet, etc. Is Ta Ho Tun village near Ng Fai Tin, Hung Uk Village, etc?

I have no idea which villages are nearby by as I've only been here 3 weeks! sorry.
