What happened to marks & spencers in pacific place mall?

They've closed down, seems a few of the stores in hk are closing.

try the one in Central. It is not far from Pacific place

They closed because the landlord refused to renew the lease at any price and told them to leave - they apparently didn't fit with the "image" of Pacific Place. As far as I am concerned it was one of the main reasons I went there, but I guess I am not in the landlord's target market group.

Really?! Dang...

Went to PP yesterday for two reasons, M & S and Lane Crawford. And would'nt ya know it, M & S was long gone, and Lane Crawford closed for complete renovation. <sigh>

Renovation for what?...it looked fine to me.
