I shall be in Hong Kong in 5 weeks time for a month and my dream would be to move to HK one day, but we`ll see if I get lucky.

I was wondering if any of you guys were going to see the musical 'Rent' starring Karen Mok?

i saw rent in NY couple yrs back and i loved it a lot. i'll definitely go to see this in hk.

I`m a big fan of Karen Mok actually. I was hoping to get to her shows at the Coliseum earlier in the year, so I`m looking forward to this one.

Rent was great to watch in NYC. not so great in London though (starring Adam Ricketts who was actually good). I can't bear the thought of seeing it in HK but do shout out if it turns out to be good. Anyone know what role KM is playing in it?

just watched the upcoming rent production in singapore and it was great. this is my third time watching rent. first in london back in mid 90s, where most of the original broadway cast played, then again earlier this year in new york. i have to say this is better than the 2005 new york production but not as good as the original london cast. but i have to say well done to Karen Mok, she was much better than expected. nevertheless, i went to the second performance and u could tell she would be better with more shows - especially her dance steps during "out tonite". for those of you who are not sure, go and watch it. you will like it!
and i'm even thinking of coming to HK to watch it!
